Shawna Labadie was born and raised in Wallaceburg, Ontario. She is a proud and active member of the Métis Nation. Shawna graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Social Work in June 2011 and the Faculty of Law in June 2014. Shawna has worked in the community legal clinic Legal Assistance of Windsor as both a social work and law student. She completed a volunteer family law clerkship with the Honourbale Mr. Justice Phillips at the Ontario Provincial Court of Justice in the summer of 2013, volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada at the Family Law Service Centre in 2014, and completed her 2014-2015 articles with Greg Monforton and Partners. Shawna was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2015 and currently manages her private family law practice in Windsor, Ontario.
